The
most
interesting
new
talent at
the
Belvedere
singing competition 2002 was defenetely the 26 years old
soprano Tatjana Mazourenko,
who was awarded with the 2nd prize. Especially her Verdi aria "No, mi
lasciate" from I due Foscari showed the artists natural musicality and solid
vocal tecnique in all ranges of her voice. She will defenetely become an
importat interpreter of the great Verdi and Puccini roles.
Tatjana Mazourenko is also a laureate of
other International
Competitions in
Kazan (1999), Baku (2000), St Petersburg (2001). While studying still at the
Kazan State Conservatoire she began her soloist carrier at the Tatar Opera
House. There she performed among others the roles as
Jolanta (Jolanta),
Mimi (La
Bohème),
Micaela (Carmen),
Susanna (Le
nozze
di Figaro), Nanetta (Falstaf) and
Adele (Die Fledermaus). Ms. Mazourenko has also performed as an oratorio soloist (Die Schöpfung
by Haydn, Requiem by Mozart etc.) and sang modern music like “Hommage
a T. Elliot” by Gubaidulina. Ms. Mazourenko has also prepared the
following parts: Tatjana (Yevgeny Onegin), Margareta (Faust),
Violetta (La Traviata), Gilda (Rigoletto) and Alice (Falstaf).
She will continue as a soloist in the "Tatar Opera House" in Kazan and
complite her studies at the Moscow Conservatory.
